About the Event
Sip on a complementary cocktail and nibble on antipasti whilst learning how to make beautifully rich egg-based pasta dough, use a pasta machine and make various shapes. You will then be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a gorgeous sauce followed by dessert!
When you arrive you will be greeted by Natasha, the owner of Nightingales Emporium, who will hand you a complementary cocktail and show you to the supper club room, where you will have a little bit of time to mingle with other guests and nibble on the antipasti before getting to the nitty gritty. Neerali will give you a brief history of Northern Italian cuisine and pasta, after which you will be able to put your apron on and start learning the art of how to make egg-based pasta dough. Once the dough is made it will left to rest whilst Neerali shows you how to use the pasta machine and demonstrates a few different shapes. Then...it's your turn! Once everyone has made their shapes, Neerali will cook the pasta to add to a homemade sauce (either Duck & Sangiovese Ragù or Chestnut & Wild Mushroom Fonduta (v)), and you will be able to sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labour. You will finally be served Neerali's famous Orange & Chocolate Tiramisù before heading home with a goody bag filled with the recipes from the evening and a sweet treat.
